Rolling out the red carpet for exclusive ‘Starring Barcelona’ party at Cine Europe

2012 is a special year for Cine Europe, Europe’s leading convention for the exhibition industry: after 15 years, the show moved from its trusted location in Amsterdam to Barcelona. To highlight the change, Cine Europe and a number of selected sponsors have organized a prestigious party that celebrates life in this bustling city. Barco is gold sponsor of this ‘Starring Barcelona’ party, which is to take place tomorrow night.

 

“Discover the magic of the city in an evening that takes you behind the screens”, says the exclusive invitation to the ‘Starring Barcelona’ event. Barco and its peer event sponsors promise an exciting night of celebrations, with delicious traditional Catalan food, live performances and loads of surprises.

Taking place at CCIB, Barcelona's international convention center, Cine Europe took off today. Barco’s booth in the exhibition hall (suite E), has been converted into a small cinema of the future, to showcase our integrated product offering. It features Barco’s digital cinema projectors, the unique Auro 11.1 sound technology and Barco’s digital signage systems and displays for branding and advertising.

Cine Europe has been Europe’s leading exhibition and distribution conference for many years. The 2012 edition will, just like in the past, showcase exclusive screenings of films that have not yet been released, present the most innovative projects and technologies in the industry, and offer talks and presentations by professionals from large exhibition-related companies.
