IRISA/INRIA

IRISA/INRIA boasts largest Barco iSpace ever built in France

9.6 x 3.1 meters: that is the impressive size of the largest I-Space Virtual  Reality system installed in France to date. It enables researchers from the INRIA Science and Technology institute and their academic and industrial partners to simulate complex dynamic systems and investigate interactions between users and these systems in the most immersive
environment possible.

"The feeling of immersion really is unequalled," confirms Georges Dumont INRIA's Virtual Reality research team. The INRIA I-Space currently consists of a glass wall, an acrylic floor and two glass lateral screens. 11 Barco Galaxy projectors ensure the high-resolution active stereoscopic visualization.
