Mr. Fornier first joined Barco in 1998 and held several positions in management of research and development in the field of projection technologies for meeting room and simulation applications. After spending 4 years in R&D management at Philips , Mr. Fornier re-joined Barco as VP Product Development for the Healthcare Division in 2010. In 2021, he was appointed as Executive Vice President of the Business Unit Surgical & Modality.

Mr. Fornier holds a Master in Engineering and a PhD in Engineering from the University of Ghent.
