Breast Imaging Symposium: demonstrating how Coronis Uniti enhances diagnostic workflow

Last week, the Egyptian Society of Women Health Radiologists (ESWH) teamed up with the American Society of Breast Imaging (SBI) to host the ‘Breast Imaging Symposium’. Breast cancer experts and other healthcare professionals came together in Cairo, Egypt, for three days of training and workshops. Barco was delighted to support the event: together with our local partner and distributor Global Technology (FujiFilm), we delivered three Coronis Uniti® and three Nio 5MP diagnostic displays to facilitate the workshops.
Helping radiologists save lives
Save lives and minimize the impact of breast cancer through patient-centered and evidence-based care, excellence in education and collaboration with respect for diversity and inclusiveness: that’s the mission of both SBI and ESWH. It perfectly matches the mission of Barco’s Healthcare division. We were therefore delighted to join forces with Global Technology and support SBI’s first scientific meeting in the Middle East. Our Coronis Uniti and Nio 5MP displays were used in the hands-on workshops, where radiologists and cancer experts sharpened their breast imaging skills.
Diagnostic accuracy and reading efficiency
Our flagship Coronis Uniti display is gaining foothold in the Middle East healthcare market. Launched in 2014, it still is the only display on the market that can support PACS as well as multimodality breast imaging on a single screen. This versatility helps radiologists to read more studies, faster. On top of that, its image quality is beyond compare, which makes it a perfect solution for reading breast images with the utmost diagnostic accuracy.
The radiologists and doctors that used our displays during the Cairo workshops were duly impressed by the level of detail and reading comfort that Coronis Uniti offers.
