What is breast imaging?

Breast imaging is the medical specialty that detects, investigates and treats breast cancer and other breast issues. This is typically done through x-rays or mammograms, MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scans, and ultrasound. After having been taken, the images are visualized on a medical display and analyzed by a radiologist specialized in breast health.
