white fill
  • setting up the connection
strady white
  • connected and ready to be used
blinking white
  • unable to connect
fast white spinning
  • device (Button) is busy
  • device (Button) is  processing i.e. Button is trying to establish connection with the Base Unit

purple¹
  • Hostflow without sharing i.e. ClickShare is sharing remote participants with the display
Static purple - red 
  • Hostflow with sharing i.e. ClickShare is sharing remote participants and content with the display
steady red
  • sharing i.e. ClickShare is sharing your screen with the display
blinking red
  • an error occurred. 
    Please re-pair the Button with the Base Unit (how to: see KB 5924)

LEDs behaviorExplanation
white blinking
  • Button is plugged in the laptop and initializing or waiting for the user to start the ClickShare application.
  • Pairing/software update of the Button in the Base Unit is in progress.

    For troubleshooting white light flashing issue, see KB 5469.

  • ClickShare is ready to start sharing your screen.
  • Pairing is done. You can now unplug the Button from the Base Unit.
static red
  • Sharing your screen with the display.
  • Pairing and software update is done. You can now unplug the Button from the Base Unit.
red blinking
  • An error occurred. 
    Please re-pair the Button with the Base Unit (how to: see KB 5924)
    If this does not help please contact Barco support (how-to, see KB 6024).
off (no light)
  • Button is not or not properly inserted into the USB port.
  • Button might be defective.
  • USB port or computer might be defective.
