Problem description:
When a Barco Color Display gets calibrated, it generates an ICC Profile that gets registered in the operating system (Windows). However, currently, in QAWeb Enterprise, the ICC Profile gets registered per user profile in Windows (not applied to all Windows users). This means, that if the current Windows user, doesn't have the necessary user privileges to apply the registered ICC Profile, the ICC Compliance Test will fail with the following error message:
or
Solution:
- Please verify if the current Windows user has the required user rights to apply, register ICC profiles (check with the IT department)
- Using the current Windows user, open the "Color Management" options in Windows 10 (Windows search box: Color Management)
- Select the Barco Diagnostic Display in "Devices".
- Check the box "Use my settings for this device"
- Click on "Add"
- Search the ICC profile of the Barco Diagnostic Display in the "ICC Profiles" section
- Normally the ICC profile of the Barco Display should be listed: "Barco_DisplaySN_Time_Settings.icc"
- Then click on "Set as Default Profile"
After that, please perform a display calibration again using the QAWeb Enterprise, followed by an ICC compliance test.
