How can Barco make a difference in today’s hospitals? Industry experts visiting the Zorg & ICT trade fair that opens today in Utrecht, the Netherlands, will find out soon. On show at the Barco booth are three series of innovative products that can optimize the workflow of healthcare professionals, while enhancing the patient experience.
One of the three key innovations showcased at the Barco booth is the new LED-lit diagnostic display system. First launched at RSNA in Chicago (November 2012), the top-of-range Coronis Fusion diagnostic display with LED backlights boosts brightness levels even further, while saving energy and ensuring a long life span.
Also on display at Zorg & ICT is Barco’s JAO Smart Terminal, designed for use at the patient’s bedside. By providing secure access to Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and innovative solutions to patient entertainment, it helps make the lives of doctors, nurses as well as the patients easier.
For the operating room, Barco presents its IP-centric Nexxis solution. Set up in several Benelux operating rooms already, this solution for video and image management and distribution ensures exceptional image quality, ease of use, scalability and reliability. Visitors to the Barco booth will discover how Nexxis can make a difference in the digital operating room of the future.
