The pincode for an additional client authentication can be activated on the Base Unit. Every time such a client connects to the Base Unit, a passcode will be generated by a random number generator in the Base Unit and be displayed on the screen.
This can be activated in the ClickShare WebUI under Wi-Fi & Network > Services. The pincode can be selected for the ClickShare App and all BYOD screen sharing protocols except Google Cast.

Where can I view the pincode on the screen for ClickShare
- For ClickShare devices (CX-20/30/50 and C-5-10) running firmware version 2.16 and higher, the pincode will appear in large font in the middle of the screen.
- For ClickShare devices (CX-20/30/50 and C-5-10) running firmware version below 2.16, the pincode will appear in the center-bottom of the screen.
- For ClickShare devices (CS-100(H) and CSE-200/200+/800) running any firmware version, the pincode will appear in the top-right of the screen.
