Barco is showcasing its medical product range in healthcare-related trade shows around the world, these days. While the Barco booth at HIMMS has been attracting visitors since last Sunday, our booth at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna opened yesterday morning. Radiologists and other healthcare specialists from around Europe have a chance to discover Barco’s range of medical display systems and quality assurance solutions until next Monday.
On display at the Barco booth are the Nio and Coronis diagnostic displays with LED technology. New in the medical display range, the solutions ensure improved brightness levels, reduced power consumption and an extended lifespan. In addition to the LED-lit Nio and Coronis solutions, visitors to the Barco booth will learn how the Coronis Fusion 6MP DL, the Mammo Tomosynthesis 5MP display and Barco’s MediCal QAWeb online quality assurance service all help radiologists perform better. The brand-new Eonis clinical displays will also be on show.
Nice side note: By attending ECR, the Barco team contributes to a great initiative to support young radiologists. The Viennese hotel industry has agreed to give the ESR a 6% commission on all group hotel bookings for ECR 2013. Every cent the organization receives will go straight to the INVEST IN THE YOUTH program, supporting young, scientifically active radiologists from all over the world.
