rAVe publications recently announced the “Best of InfoComm13” awards in which Barco was a winner in four categories. Awards included the “Gutsy/Kudos Award” and “Best New Presentation System” for ClickShare, “Best In-Booth Display/Entertainment” for projectiondesign and “Best New LED Wall” for its new V Series LED displays .
Gutsy/Kudos Award
Barco set-up ClickShare, its wireless presentation and collaboration system, in a block of meeting rooms and left no instructions or details on how to connect and project. As rAVe blogger Joel Rollins pointed out in his InfoComm blog, it was gutsy and it worked.
Best New Presentation System Product Award
The most recent version of ClickShare was introduced at InfoComm that includes iOS and Android compatibility as well as lip-synced audio. Check out the video from InfoComm.
Best In-Booth Display/Entertainment Award
The projectiondesign booth integrated its products into unique applications. For example, there was a virtual DJ and an augmented reality interactive demo like what was integrated into the World of Coke.
Best New LED Wall Award
The V series LED displays are specifically designed for fixed installations in branding, digital out-of-home (advertising) and sports. Building on Barco’s experience with high-end LED technology, the V series is supported by the DV-100 image processor with an Athena scaler for flexible scaling. Besides supporting standard inputs up to (dual) HD-SDI, the V-series also supports new standards like 3G SDI, HDMI and DisplayPort. It comes in two options: the V6 uses a 6-millimeter LED pixel pitch and the V4 uses a 4-millimeter LED pixel pitch. Check out the video from InfoComm.
