The ‘compact’ DP2K-6E projector that we introduced during Cine Europe – remember our Mini? -, is now premièring throughout Europe. In July, we introduced it at ‘Ciné – Giornate Estive di Cinema – Riccione 2015’, the summer get-together of Italy’s movie professionals.

The unmissable summer event for the Italian film industry, promoted and supported by the Italian Association of Cinematographic, Audiovisual and Multimedia Industries (ANICA) in collaboration with members the Italian Association of Exhibitors (ANEC), celebrated its fifth birthday this year. Just like in the past, it attracted over 1,700 Italian movie professionals to learn during professional workshops and meetings, discover, discuss and enjoy some great movies. As a technology sponsor to the event, Italian cinema projector technology company Cinemeccanica hosted a booth and was happy to support our presentation of Barco’s youngest – and smallest – digital cinema projector family.
