Regional savings bank, Caisse d'Epargne des Hauts de France, sought to create a people- and performance-driven workplace at their new Euralille headquarters. Faced in the past with the challenge of cumbersome videoconferencing, they turned to Barco's ClickShare, for a definitive solution that boosted flexibility, collaboration and productivity for 3,000+ employees.
Caisse d'Epargne des Hauts de France is a regional savings bank, part of the BPCE group (Banque Populaire, Caisse d'Epargne), serving the retail, corporate and institutional markets.
With more than 3,000 employees and over 300 branches and sites, this regional headquarters serves all customers in the Hauts de France and Benelux regions.
In March 2023, the company moved to a brand-new, state-of-the-art headquarters in Euralille, the business and commercial district in the heart of Lille. The project ´has brought together our employees in a favorable environment for them and the Caisse d'Epargne banking business´, Bruno Blondel (Director of Retail Estate Management) tells us.
Caisse d´Epargne has consistently shown a keen interest in creating a conducive work environment that supports wellbeing and optimal performance for its workforce.
In 2019, the bank carried out company-wide research around the challenges their employees encounter in the workplace which revealed videoconferencing in hybrid meetings as a major culprit.
Jean Pierre Vandewalle (Director of IT Solutions Banking Assistance) expands on these inconveniences:
´Every time we had a meeting, we had to take five to ten minutes beforehand to ensure the room technology was working. This irritated everyone and we were not sure the meeting was going to work with the equipment we had.´
The Covid crisis that followed cemented a hybrid work model at Caisse d´Epargne, strengthening the bank´s resolve that a significant transformation toward a successful hybrid model was imperative: ´We wanted to design a new working environment for our employees. ´said Bruno Blondel.
And so, the wheels were set into motion for a new, modern headquarters that would make this aspiration come true.

As part of the project for the new headquarters in Euralille, the company began to search for the best meeting room solution that will enable successful and productive hybrid work for their 3,000 employees.
Jean Pierre Vandewalle explains:

Installed in huddle spaces, standard meeting rooms, a theater with a capacity of 50 people but also less conventional areas like café areas, ClickShare has enabled the same engaging and immersive experience in any setting for the bank´s workforce.
