Video: Curtain Call – a new way to see art, powered by Barco’s RLM-W8 projectors

1 minutos de leitura

"Let's do something round and big," said the Israeli artist/architect Ron Arad when the director of London’s Roundhouse art venue asked to create an installation for the venue's birthday. "Maybe a curtain as tall and as wide as possible?"

It took the ingenuity of a smart design team, the technical expertise of Blitz Communications and 12 Barco RLM-W8 projectors to bring Arad’s design idea to life. The result is Curtain Call - a giant suspended, circular installation made up of 5,600 silicon rods, used as a canvas for films, live performance and audience interaction.

“Playful, original and brilliant,” titled the Observer. “A new way to see art,” said the BBC. And the audience? They loved it!
