Digital cinema brightens movie showings in Peru and Chile
1 minutos de leitura
The appetite for cinema in many Latin American countries is clearly growing, with a 185 percent increase in movie ticket sales in Peru over the last seven years. While much of the growth can be attributed to the urbanization and expanding economies of the country’s major cities, growing interest in cinema can also be attributed to modernization of theaters with premium amenities and 3D technology. Barco and Bardan Cinema are helping many exhibitors like Cineplex S.A. ride the wave by enabling them to offer their patrons and enhanced moviegoing experience.
“We chose Barco and Bardan for our deployment because what we are buying is excellence in post-sale service,” comments Fernando Soriano, CEO for Cineplex S.A. “It is not only important to have the latest generation in projection equipment; it is essential to have a team of professionals willing to attend to our needs when we require, with the best attitude, and we have that with both Bardan and Barco.”
