The Base Unit model can be identified in the following ways:

A. Physical inspection
The quickest and easiest way is to search for the model name mentioned on the label attached to the packaging box in which the Base Unit came. For example, the model name is ClickShare CX-30 as shown in the image below:
Alternatively, search for the part number or serial number mentioned on the label attached to the bottom of the Base Unit or to the packaging box and then using that part number or serial number on the Barco website you can view the corresponding model name.

- A part number consists of alphanumeric characters, i.e. a combination of numbers and letters (for example: R9861513CN).
- A serial number consists of only numbers (for example: 1862380648).
Visit to https://www.barco.com/en/support, navigate to the Product support section (for using part number) or Warranty section (for using serial number) and then enter the part number or serial number in the product search bar. The model name (for example ClickShare CX-30) can be viewed as shown in the image below:

B. ClickShare services
If your ClickShare Base Unit is connected to the network and powered on, you can view its model name using one of the following ClickShare services:
i. ClickShare Configurator
Login to the ClickShare Configurator (how to: see KB 2324) of your Base Unit and navigate to System > Base Unit Status to the view the model name of your Base Unit. For example, the model name is CX-30 as shown in the image below:

ii. ClickShare Desktop App
Connect to your Base Unit (how to: see KB 2607) and open the About menu to view the Base Unit model name. For example, the model name is CX-30 as shown in the image below:

iii. ClickShare Button Client App
Plug in the ClickShare Button to the laptop and open the About menu in the Button Client App to view the Base Unit name. For example, the model name is CX-30 as shown in the image below:

iv. XMS Cloud
Login to your XMS Cloud (how to: see KB 2534), navigate to the Manage > Baseunits page and then click on the ⚙ icon of your Base Unit to open its Manage Baseunit page. The model name of your Base Unit (for example C-10) can be viewed as shown in the image below:
