MCD Medical Computers Deutschland GmbH is one of the leading manufacturers of IT systems for deployment in the healthcare field. Besides selling its ‘MCD Medical Line’ of PCs, displays, etc., the company also develops and manufactures medical devices for large medical device manufacturers. In addition, it delivers customized, integrated platforms for healthcare environments like operating rooms (ORs), intensive care units, etc. Barco’s surgical display portfolio will become a strategic component of this offering.
