Confirmed at ECR 2013: radiologists really know Barco!

For this year’s Congress of Radiology in Vienna - the largest and most important radiology congress in Europe -, Barco had developed a 85m2 booth featuring six different zones. The overall theme: how Barco offers a refreshingly different view on radiology. Coronis 6MP with LED

One of the highlights at the booth was the brand-new Coronis 6MP LED with edge-lit, energy-saving LED technology. “The new display is brighter, shows more details and helps physicians by requiring less zooming, panning and window-leveling. It comes with 50% more calibrated luminance, 50% more guaranteed lifetime and 25% less power consumption,” said product manager Bjorn Belpaeme. The Coronis 6MP LED was revealed for the first time in Europe at ECR and is now being covered extensively in many specialist journals.

Belgian Beer!

In total, over 20,000 visitors from 101 countries visited ECR. Many found their way to the Barco booth and … to the Barco Beer Bar that opened its doors on 9 March. “ECR really is a once-in-a-year opportunity to meet our customers and business partners, while welcoming many new healthcare specialists too,” the sales team agreed.
