Imagine Dragons concert tour mesmerizes fans with shapeshifting video
1 min di lettura
Grammy award-winning Imagine Dragons has skyrocketed in popularity since the band’s debut album hit the alt rock scene three short years ago. Working hand-in-hand with Moment Factory, its creative team chose Barco XHS-400 media servers as the powerful video engine, coupled with event projectors and High End Systems lighting to transport concert audiences on a psychedelic journey.
For its Smoke+Mirrors tour, the design team created eight LED columns to serve as massive multimedia screens for constantly morphing and shapeshifting video projection. Moment Factory developed the groundbreaking video content, which was completely driven by the media servers. A small scrim section was also brought to life using Barco’s HDF-W26 projectors with built-in ImagePRO Athena™ technology for flexible scaling. High End Systems’ Solaspot Pro 1500 fixtures mirrored the musical dynamics with brilliant lighting.
Sophisticated, yet easy to use
Despite its bold, raw power enabling fast end-to-end show design, creation, setup and control, the XHD-400 media server couldn’t be easier to use. Video producers can easily develop their show from idea to realization, simplifying 3D visualization for projection mappings and ultimately simulating an entire show for convenient preview.
